Senior Power BI Developer

Job Description:

Crescens is seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. As a Senior Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop dashboards, reports, and scorecards to meet business requirements
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to perform data analysis
  • Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and project teams to understand business drivers, needs, and pain points
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design BI solutions
  • Develop and maintain business information models
  • Support business users with their own dashboard/report development, including troubleshooting existing reports, updating data sources, and publishing to on-prem and cloud report servers

Requirements:

  • Strong business analysis and Power BI skills
  • Proven experience in working closely with business users, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or other data visualization tools
  • Experience working with Agile project methodology
  • Experience with Crystal Reports, Business Objects, Python, or R

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DAX and Power Query M for data manipulation
  • Experience with data analysis, data management, and report development
