About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Supervisor to join our culinary team at Park Hyatt Aviara. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our pastry department, ensuring the highest quality of products and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a high level of quality control in the production of pastries and baked goods.
  • Develop and implement efficient production processes to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assume department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining high standards.

Requirements

  • Culinary education and experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cost control and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in relevant software.
