Job Title: Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Traveling Interventional Radiology Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and procedures, utilizing your expertise in imaging guidance to perform therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including checking vital signs and analyzing lab results and medical history.
  • Provide education to patients and family members, and insert and remove IV lines as needed.
  • Administer drugs, including conscious sedation drugs, and monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients, and provide post-procedure monitoring.
Requirements:
  • AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology.
