Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Assistant Professor of Chemistry to join our faculty at Providence College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring undergraduate students in the areas of chemical biology or biochemistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach lecture and laboratory courses at the introductory and advanced levels in biochemistry and chemical biology
  • Develop and maintain an active research program involving undergraduate students
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and assessment
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field
  • Postdoctoral experience is highly desirable
