Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze vast amounts of market data to identify potential trading opportunities and refine existing strategies.
  • Operate trading strategies in production, managing hedges and adjusting trading models to respond to live market events.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of our research and development platform, streamlining the strategy development process.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Python programming, with a focus on data analysis using pandas, scipy, and numpy.
  • Strong understanding of modern statistical techniques and experience with large data sets.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Experience with SQL programming, particularly with time series joins, and Bash scripting.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Trading and market experience.
  • Experience with option and derivative pricing models.
  • Query optimization expertise.
  • Familiarity with HPE Vertica.
