Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team at Infotree Global Solutions. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing and characterization of nonwoven materials, developing new products and processes, and collaborating with product scientists and process engineers to drive innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct laboratory testing and characterization of nonwoven materials, including mechanical, chemical, and physical testing.
  • Develop and implement new test methods and protocols as needed to characterize new products and technologies.
  • Collaborate with product scientists and process engineers to develop new products and processes, and to optimize existing ones.
  • Operate laboratory and pilot equipment independently to produce material samples.
  • Provide actionable observations and communicate experimental results to the team.
Requirements
  • High school/Associates degree with 1-3 years experience or Bachelors Degree with 0+ years experience.
  • Ability to perform laboratory testing following established lab procedures for lab instrumentation such as Instrons, air permeability, and colorimeters.
  • Ability to use and operate laboratory and pilot equipment independently to produce material samples.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Mechanical, chemical, or QA lab experience.
  • Bachelors Degree in science or engineering.
  • Experience with ASTM, ISO, TAPPI, or other standards.
