Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to work in a dynamic operating room environment. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical technology, with experience in prepping the operating room, assisting surgeons and nurses, and maintaining sterile conditions. A nationally certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) with a minimum of 1 year of recent acute experience is required.

Responsibilities:
  • Prep the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment
  • Transport patients to and from surgery, providing emotional support and reassurance
  • Participate in post-operative care, ensuring patients receive the best possible care
Requirements:
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • BLS Certification
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
