Quality Assurance Support Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Quality Supports Facilitator (QSF) is responsible for overseeing the quality of services provided across multiple residential settings, directly managing Community Support Supervisors (CSS) and Lead Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
The QSF ensures that all operations comply with the standards set by the agency, as well as regulatory requirements from relevant authorities. This role involves coaching, training, and mentoring team members to deliver exceptional, person-centered support while upholding the core values of the agency.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Act in accordance with the agency's mission and values in all interactions with individuals supported, their families, and team members.
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, and specific program protocols.
- Empower and support team members to maintain high agency standards.
- Collaborate with CSS, LDSPs, and DSPs to provide individualized support.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new team members and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Team Development:
- Provide and document training for CSS and LDSP staff.
- Participate in the recruitment process for new team members.
- Respond to team member inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and ensure compliance with agency and union guidelines.
- Monitor operational processes, oversee system usage, and generate reports for accuracy.
Advocacy Role:
- Encourage meaningful participation in activities and advocate for the needs of individuals supported.
- Promote person-centered practices and proactively address service needs.
- Serve as the primary contact for emergencies outside of regular hours.
Community Engagement:
- Support community involvement for individuals to foster relationships.
- Ensure compliance with various standards and positively represent the agency within the community.
Position Requirements:
The QSF must embody the agency's mission and values, demonstrate effective leadership skills, and provide guidance and training to team members. Adaptability, independence, and the ability to meet deadlines and guidelines are essential.
Education and Certification:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Certification/Licensure: Completion of necessary background checks as required.
Experience:
- Prior experience in Direct Support roles.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum: 1-3 years of supervisory experience.
Required Abilities:
- Physical capabilities including sitting, lifting, carrying, walking, and driving.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and other specified requirements.
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $24.50
