The compensation for this role is set between $270,000 and $328,000. The established UC salary scales outline the minimum remuneration based on rank and/or step at the time of appointment. This position is part of the health sciences compensation plan, which may allow for additional earnings.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking candidates for a faculty role at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level within the Health Sciences Clinical Professor Series, specifically in the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. This division offers comprehensive Women's Reproductive Health Care, encompassing low-risk obstetrics, outpatient gynecology, and benign gynecologic surgical procedures. Faculty members will also supervise residents and medical students at a leading academic institution.
Responsibilities will encompass delivering a full range of obstetrical and gynecologic services at the faculty practice, managing GYN inpatient care, and dedicating time to oversee resident continuity clinics at affiliated health centers. Additional duties include supervising and educating trainees at all levels and engaging in scholarly activities.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications (required at the time of application)
Applicants must hold an MD, possess a California medical license by the start date, and be eligible or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research, along with a strong interest in serving diverse community populations. The rank will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Availability of positions is contingent upon funding.
