Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Providence Health & Services. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare by educating and developing our nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive education programs for nursing staff, focusing on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders and subject matter experts to design and deliver education initiatives that meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Conduct needs assessments, analyze data, and evaluate program effectiveness to inform future education initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our education programs are current and relevant.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field from a nationally accredited program.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Professional Development Practitioner or Education Specialist certification within 2 years of hire.
  • 5 years of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree from an accredited program in Nursing or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in an educator or faculty role.
  • 3 years of progressive leadership experience within nursing.
