The College of Law's Experiential Learning Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities within its externship program seminars. DePaul offers externship seminars in four areas:

  • Judicial externships

While there may not be a current position available, applications are reviewed as needed when positions arise. If you have prior teaching experience, you are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member's qualifications and the best interests of DePaul.

Requirements

JD degree and a current, active law license. Demonstrated expertise in the practice setting seminar you expect to lead. Prior teaching experience is helpful.
