Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. As a key member of our hotel operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the housekeeping team to ensure that all guest rooms and public spaces are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces to ensure that they meet our company's standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas of the hotel are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Train and develop the skills of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service to our guests.
  • Address guest complaints and concerns regarding housekeeping service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure that our guests receive a seamless and exceptional experience.
Requirements
  • College degree preferred.
  • At least two years of housekeeping experience, and three years of supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor, and fellow employees in both English and Spanish.
  • Ability to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding inspecting/cleaning guest rooms and supervisory duties.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work rotating shifts, night shifts, and/or overtime, and may be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and any employee may be required to work at any time.
