Job Summary:
Wellstar North Fulton Hospital seeks a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to lead our Neuro-MedSurg unit on a full-time night shift basis. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing daily activities to ensure safe and effective patient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rounds on every patient daily to evaluate quality and appropriateness of patient care, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Performs or provides oversight for the Nursing Process, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
  • Provides relationship-based care delivery, partnering with patients and significant others to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Practices using current clinical practice standards, focusing on safety and quality.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing with an Associate Degree/Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification and Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact licensure.
  • Minimum 1 year nursing experience, with experience as relief charge with clinical expertise preferred.
