Responsibilities

Under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager, the Respiratory Therapist will perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation skills, with consideration of age and population-specific needs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate
  • 2 years of experience as a RCP preferred
  • ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire
  • NRP certificate preferred
  • PALS certificate within 60 days of hire
  • An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
