Yard Driver

We are seeking a skilled Yard Truck Driver to join our team at E. & J. Gallo. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a yard truck to transport trailers and materials throughout the facility, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

1. Operate a yard truck to transport empty and full trailers to load and off-load goods, chemicals, and other supplies.
2. Inspect trailers, tanks, and yard trucks to ensure they are in good working condition and report any issues.
3. Perform routine maintenance on the yard trucks to ensure they are in good working order.
4. Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations and meet production deadlines.
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company safety standards and regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of previous yard driver/truck driving experience.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds.
• Basic math and writing skills.
• Ability to work any shift as needed, including overtime.
• Physical ability to execute all essential functions of the job.
