- Remove trash and clean/disinfect waste containers.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms in resident rooms and public spaces.
- Clean public spaces, including corridors, stairwells, elevators, waiting rooms, and lobby.
- Clean equipment and work areas as assigned by the Manager.
- Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

This position requires lifting up to forty pounds (40lbs). You will work throughout the facility, including resident rooms, and will be required to bend, lift, sit, stand, and move frequently throughout the shift. You will also be exposed to odors, falls, burns, and exposure to infectious diseases, waste, blood, and body fluids.
Physical DemandsYou will be required to stand and walk continuously throughout the working day. You will also be required to reach, stoop, bend, lift, carry, and work with housekeeping supplies and equipment. You must be free from infection or diseases and be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is an hourly position, with expected hours to include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
Required Education and Experience- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is desired
