Induction Technician

Job Title: Induction Technician - Steel Mill Operations

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

This is a challenging and rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about working in the steel industry. As an Induction Technician at Exploratory Ventures, LLC, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hot strip mill.

Key Responsibilities:

• Master lockout of Tunnel Furnace
• Safely change rolls, roofs, gearboxes, motors, dueblins, thermocouples and burners
• Ensure good housekeeping practices are carried out in job areas and grounds
• Perform daily walkthroughs of the entire Tunnel Furnace area and complete scheduled PM's

Requirements:

• Quality, detail, and safety oriented; mechanically inclined and self-motivated
• Good insight into team dynamics with strong verbal communication skills and computer literate
• Ability to work without direct supervision
