Job Summary

Chattanooga Christian School is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team at The Glenwood School. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting the instruction and care of students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing lessons for various academic subjects, including guided reading and small-group math sessions.
  • Work with early childhood students in a variety of settings, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in sensitive student matters.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and successful educational experience.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed, supporting the efficient operation of the school.

  • Ability to work well with children across various settings and backgrounds.
  • Proficient in a range of technology, including educational software and tools.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, running, sitting, squatting, and jumping for extended periods. The employee may need to physically support students and should have no health issues that would prevent assisting a student getting in and out of a chair.
