Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team at Wexford Health Sources Inc. As a LPN, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care under the clinical guidance of Registered Nurses.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching activities, utilizing established medical record systems and consulting with registered nurses, physicians, and correctional officers as necessary.
  • Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.
  • Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, complications, and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
  • Assist in maintaining working and living areas and supplies in good order.
  • Serve as a member of a nursing care and treatment team, and assist physician as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
