Job Summary

The CNA will provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This includes assisting with basic health care needs, such as bathing, toileting, and grooming, as well as providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
  • Assist with basic health care needs, such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
  • Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year
