We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Nemours Foundation. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

About the Role:

The Medical Nurse Specialist will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide comprehensive and personalized care. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery models
  • To develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • To participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous learning and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient nursing, preferably in a medical/surgical setting
  • Active Delaware State license (or compact license) required
  • BLS certification with American Heart Association (AHA) required; PALS certification within 1 year

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on experience
