Resort Lifestyle Communities, a family-owned company with over twenty years of experience in providing all-inclusive, independent, resort-style 55-and-over senior living retirement communities across the nation, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000, which includes a competitive compensation package and benefits. As a valued member of our team, you will receive great pay and work/life balance, with evening meals ending at 6:30pm, no late nights. You can also enjoy a delicious free meal during your shift, access to OnDemand Pay to get paid when you need it, and a stipend of $7,320 per year to apply towards any benefit(s) you select, including health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, health savings account, medical flexible spending account, dependent care FSA, lifestyle spending account, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, legal, and identity theft insurance.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef who will plan and execute menus that cater to resident choices and feedback, while developing strong, positive, and lasting relationships with our residents and guests. The ideal candidate will be empowered to make meal times special experiences, challenged with changing menus, and supported by our Core Values of Respect, Kindness & Compassion, Honesty, and Service Excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties

Your key responsibilities will include utilizing your skills and imagination to create rotating menus, making meal times special experiences for our residents and guests, being challenged with changing menus, receiving instant feedback from our residents daily, creating impressions with a lasting connection, supporting the recruitment, selection, scheduling, and training of Culinary and Dining Team members, and upholding our Core Values.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need previous leadership experience in culinary preparation and cooking, a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), and basic computer skills. A culinary degree or other higher education is preferred, as well as data entry experience. You must be able to secure ServSafe Manager Certification within two weeks of first day of employment and be 18 years of age or older.
