Key Responsibilities- Prepare Patients for Visits: Complete Advanced Standard room process, including entering chief complaints, taking vital signs, reviewing patient history and allergies, and completing medication reconciliation.
- Assist with In-Office Testing: Draw blood, complete mental status exams, EKGs, walking oxygen studies, and point-of-care testing as needed.
- Administer Vaccines and Injections: Administer vaccines and other injections within the scope of practice.
- Schedule Follow-Up Appointments: Schedule follow-up appointments as needed per office policy.
- Collaborate with Providers: Collaborate with providers and clinical care teams to monitor and coordinate delivery of care plans.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
- Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $2,000 for continuing education.
- Health and Dental Benefits: Available after day one.
- Annual Contribution: $100 per month to eligible co-workers enrolled in the Dependent Care FSA.
