Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized physical therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and set realistic goals
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Provide education and training to residents and their families on proper techniques and exercises
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physical therapy
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a physical therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
  • Current licensure to practice as a physical therapist in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in physical therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
  • Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement policies
