Job Title: Behavioral Support Specialist

Cascade Community Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Support Specialist to join our Expanded Community Services (ECS) team. As a Behavioral Support Specialist, you will provide behavioral support and crisis intervention for clients in Home and Community Services supported living environments who have been identified as in need of ECS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavioral support to clients and staff at adult family homes to assist in maintaining community placement.
  • Develop and maintain behavioral support and crisis plans for ECS clients.
  • Track psychiatric medications and provide documentation of such to the identified prescriber.
  • Collaborate with clients' primary behavioral health prescribers to facilitate appointments for ongoing medication review.
  • Participate in ongoing supervision and maintain documentation in accordance with agency and program policy.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in counseling or the social sciences required.
  • Three years' experience in providing mental health services required.
  • Washington State Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor credential required.
  • Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check and national background check if applicable.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
