Key Responsibilities

The following are the primary duties associated with this role:

  • Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of the facilities as per the standards set by the management.
  • Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets, as well as cleaning windows and dusting surfaces.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock for daily operations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations regarding the use of cleaning chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Safely operate lifting equipment as required.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within designated timeframes.

Supervisory Role: This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Education Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds, along with bending, kneeling, and reaching.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Possess effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with handling cleaning agents, including bleach.

This role is physically intensive, requiring the incumbent to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and operate cleaning machinery. The work environment may involve exposure to noise, dust, and various odors from cleaning products. Proper handling of cleaning materials is essential to avoid health risks, and the position may involve outdoor work in different weather conditions.
