Geriatric Care Nurse Opportunity

About the Role


As a Licensed Practical Nurse with LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our geriatric patients. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met. Your daily operations will be focused on ensuring the well-being and comfort of our patients, with a strong emphasis on leadership and teamwork.

Responsibilities


• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for geriatric patients
• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and performing basic physical assessments
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery
• Participate in leadership roles as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the unit

Requirements


• Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
• Less than one year experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing (diploma)
• License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine
