Job Title: Store AssociateAbout the Role:

The Store Associate provides exceptional customer service to customers shopping in-store and those engaging through omni-channel services. They assess customer needs and provide assistance by executing our customer service model, always putting the customer first.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform salesfloor and warehouse functions throughout the store, including assisting customers, merchandise placement, completing in-store and online customer transactions, processing incoming shipments, regular cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that align with our company values.
  • Act as brand ambassadors, responsible for the end-to-end experience, from online to store.
  • Comply with all policies and procedures.
Key Tasks:
  • Answer questions regarding products and complete customer transactions through in-store sales or digital orders.
  • Clear trash from aisles, cash wrap, and stockroom, return shoes to their location according to DSW standards, clean the associate breakroom and public restrooms, vacuum, clean mirrors, and front walkways, and perform other housekeeping tasks as needed.
  • Receive inbound freight, prepare, and place merchandise on the sales floor per DSW standards, complete markdowns, maintain clearance standards, and organize and maintain the stockroom.
  • Leverage in-store and digital services to bring the power of shoes to life.
  • Complete all functions of the fulfillment process, including locating items, inspecting product condition, packaging, and label placement, ensuring readiness for pick-up/delivery.
  • Operate a calculator and enter data via the register keyboard.
  • Follow all asset protection policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in using technology to successfully engage in customer interactions (Register, Register Keyboard, iPhone, Calculator).
  • Able to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store.
Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
