Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic patient care, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, age-specific, cultural, and spiritual factors.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions and standards of care to achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, actively involving patients and families in the decision-making process.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes and participate in unit/organizational quality and safety initiatives.
  • Identify customer service needs and meet or exceed expectations, creating an environment that promotes customer satisfaction and the patient experience.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Michigan Nursing License.
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age-specific needs.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Critical thinking skills necessary to perform principal duties and responsibilities of the job description.
