Estimated Salary Range:

$55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Respiratory Therapist at St Bernards Medical Center, your primary responsibilities will include preparing treatment medications, administering prescribed treatments, and performing various departmental procedures under general supervision. You will be expected to exercise sound judgment and accept greater responsibility in therapeutic procedures based on patient observation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and clinical medicine. A.A.S degree from an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program or equivalent is required. Licensure as a respiratory therapist in the state of Arkansas is also mandatory.

Work Environment

You will be working in a normal hospital environment, requiring full range of hearing, normal/corrected eyesight, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 70 pounds. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking are also expected.
