Night Shift Extruder Operator

C-P Flexible Packaging is a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, and we are currently seeking a skilled Night Shift Extruder Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to operate our extrusion equipment, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain extrusion equipment to produce high-quality products
  • Complete tasks within adequate time limits and meet daily production goals
  • Tear down and set up jobs, making necessary adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Load and unload product using a hoist, and interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOPs, etc.)
  • Complete required paperwork and maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand written information
  • Basic computer skills and ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50-80 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
