Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Industrial Staffing Services Inc dba Equiliem. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and related procedures, ensuring accurate and timely results for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex CT procedures, utilizing professional judgment to review and obtain patient clinical history.
  • Prepare, screen, and review the accuracy of contrast questionnaires with patients and/or family members.
  • Identify and/or administer contrast media related to CT exams as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
  • Review patient prescriptions to verify appropriateness of exams and communicate with Radiologists and Referring Physicians as needed.
  • Verify insurance authorized exam scripts and send exam modification forms to Finance for re-verification.
  • Obtain outside studies (CDs) and schedule them in EPIC for comparison by Radiologists.
  • Provide exam copies to patients and requesting physicians and/or family members.
  • Evaluate radiographs using PACS to ensure proper identification and diagnostic value.
  • Use consistent and appropriate techniques to gather relevant information from medical records, significant others, and healthcare providers.
  • Determine patient preparation for procedures and prep patients for scanning.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patient physical condition for adverse reactions.
  • Work scheduled shifts, including holidays and weekends, and be available for overtime and on-call assignments as needed.
Requirements:
  • A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist, or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Post-primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with relevant equipment knowledge.
