Cheese Specialist

At Whole Foods Market, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cheese Specialist to join our team. As a Cheese Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cheese inventory, and merchandising cheese and specialty products.

• Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure a fresh and appealing display by keeping shelves and displays clean and well-stocked.
• Understand and explain the unique features of our cheese and specialty products to customers.
• Replenish cheese inventory through proper buying procedures.
• Ensure orders for cheese are timely and accurate to monitor inventory turns.
• Meet and exceed margin and sales targets.
• Assist in training and developing Team Members on product knowledge.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Stay informed by reading daily communication logs or department updates from Leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable US, UK, or Canadian regulatory rules and regulations.

• 1+ year buying/merchandising experience.
• 1+ year cheese or grocery experience.
• Customer Service Focus.
