We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic II to join our team at Fleet Services by Cox Automotive. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles
  • Perform repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles
  • Work with the Service Writer to assess customer needs and provide information or assistance
  • Manage concurrent tasks and prioritize work-related activities
  • Act with integrity and maintain confidentiality
  • Document work performed and upload pictures of work completed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
