We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraeducator to join our team at Colonial School District. As a Paraeducator, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

• Assist teachers in planning, organizing, and delivering instruction to students with diverse needs.
• Develop and implement safe, caring, and enriching experiences for all students.
• Support students with physical positioning and self-care needs, including lifting and transferring students using specialized techniques and equipment.
• Participate in parent conferences, IEP planning, and IEP meetings as needed.
• Assist students with instructional training and group formation.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Paraprofessional Permit or eligibility to obtain one.
• Previous experience working with students in a classroom setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive stooping, twisting, and bending.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.
