Position Overview:

The Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team at Duquesne Light Company plays a crucial role in ensuring that the organization's information security goals are achieved. This team is dedicated to upholding compliance with the company's IT and Information Security policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, refine, and uphold information systems, platforms, and IT compliance procedures.
  • Ensure the timely execution of various Information Security compliance tasks, including risk evaluations, remediation efforts, and documentation reviews.
  • Monitor key performance indicators that assess the IT and Information Security Framework.
  • Oversee and ensure prompt resolutions to all audit and review issues related to security.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the third-party vendor risk assessment program.
  • Leverage analytical skills to help formulate future strategies for addressing compliance challenges.
  • Prepare for and support compliance audits conducted by internal teams, consultants, or regulatory bodies.
  • Provide advisory and consultative services regarding Information Security risks to internal stakeholders, including IT, business units, and compliance teams.
  • Offer guidance and training to operational staff, including new project managers, on compliance practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience is necessary.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience with SQL and PowerShell is advantageous.
