Concentra is seeking a highly skilled Physician Clinic Medical Director to join our team in Corona, CA. As a key member of our patient care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients and driving clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Director of Medical Operations to ensure consistency of clinical care delivery and clinician onboarding.
- Collaborate with the Director Team to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality, workflows, and patient experience.
- Mentor and train future clinical leaders and newly hired clinicians.
- Assist with the planning of clinician meetings and lead or assist in conducting them.
- Manage staffing in centers and make adjustments for unforeseen coverage needs.
- Board Certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Occupational Medicine.
- Current unrestricted medical license in the state of jurisdiction.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction.
- Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Two years' directly applicable experience, including relevant clinical and supervisory experience.
- Two years' experience in managed care and physician management.
- Experience developing and leading medical management and quality improvement programs.
- Competitive base compensation rate in the state range of $250,000.00 to $317,000.00 annually.
