Ryder System is seeking a skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations within a 150-mile radius. Our trucks are 36 months or newer, and we offer 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
Responsibilities- Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
- Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
- Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer
- Performing other duties as assigned
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder drug test
- Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- Competitive pay
- Weekly pay
- Hourly pay: $29.46 per hour
- Hours per week: 45+ hours per week
- Paid training
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Start time: 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM
