Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to set up, maintain and operate machinery in our production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of production, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with team members to achieve high productivity levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare machinery for production cycles by performing calibration, cleaning and other necessary tasks
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed
- Supply raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
- Conduct precision checks using measuring tools
- Test machine operation on a regular basis
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during shifts
- Verify output for machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Record approved and defective units or final products
- Maintain activity logs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Significant experience with diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (e.g., caliper, micrometer)
- Excellent understanding of production procedures and ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Physical stamina and strength
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical degree a plus
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
