Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at ARCH Healthcare. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services to patients of all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preanesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • Obtain informed consent for anesthesia and related services.
  • Review and order laboratory/diagnostic studies.
  • Select and administer preanesthetic medications or treatments.
  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans, providing postanesthesia follow-up and care.
  • Select and use equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies, and medications for sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services.
  • Select and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, fluids, or blood products necessary to provide anesthesia services.
  • Perform airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.
  • Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system and respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
  • Evaluate patient responses to anesthesia and surgery, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Discharge patients from the postanesthesia care unit.
  • Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities.
  • Place and manage regional anesthetic techniques.
Education and Experience
  • Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council.
  • Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
  • Licensed as an APN with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
  • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
  • Ability to operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care and necessary perioperative or operating room care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population served.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to the population-specific and age-specific needs.
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
  • Ability to maintain confidential records.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Compensation
  • $90-$117/hour (based on experience).
  • 6% retirement match with 5-year vesting schedule.
  • 7 weeks PTO.
  • Comprehensive insurance coverage.
  • 5 days/$3000 CME.
  • License and certification dues.
