Certified Anesthesia Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at ARCH Healthcare. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services to patients of all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preanesthesia assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Obtain informed consent for anesthesia and related services.
- Review and order laboratory/diagnostic studies.
- Select and administer preanesthetic medications or treatments.
- Develop and implement anesthesia care plans, providing postanesthesia follow-up and care.
- Select and use equipment, invasive and non-invasive monitors, supplies, and medications for sedation, anesthesia, and pain management services.
- Select and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents, adjuvant drugs, fluids, or blood products necessary to provide anesthesia services.
- Perform airway management, including fiberoptic intubation.
- Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system and respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation.
- Evaluate patient responses to anesthesia and surgery, taking corrective action as needed.
- Discharge patients from the postanesthesia care unit.
- Implement acute and chronic pain management modalities.
- Place and manage regional anesthetic techniques.
- Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the AANA Council.
- Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
- Licensed as an APN with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred).
- Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
- Ability to operate, use, and interpret data from a wide variety of equipment to perform anesthesia care and necessary perioperative or operating room care.
- Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient population served.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan and ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to the population-specific and age-specific needs.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques.
- Ability to maintain confidential records.
- Ability to implement and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
- $90-$117/hour (based on experience).
- 6% retirement match with 5-year vesting schedule.
- 7 weeks PTO.
