We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Diesel Engine Technician Trainee to join our team at Cummins Inc. This role will provide the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the maintenance and repair of diesel engines.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain and repair diesel engines in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and belt replacements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose engine problems using various diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with experienced technicians and engineers to resolve complex engine issues.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in automotive or diesel technology preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine theory, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
