Job Title: Floral Arranger

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Floral Arranger to join our team at Hy-Vee Food Stores. As a Floral Arranger, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized floral department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create floral arrangements for customers
• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized floral department
• Unload trucks, place product in storage, and replenish merchandise
• Assist customers with floral-related questions and concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Three years of similar or related work experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Working Conditions:

The duties for this position are normally conducted in a store environment. There is significant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities. Some holidays may require extended hours.

Equipment Used to Perform Job:

• Standard tools and equipment used in a floral environment
• Computer, underwater cutter, wire cutter, pricing gun, dosetron, scissors, knives, pick machine, register system, helium tank, and telephone

Contacts:

Has daily contact with the general public, customers, suppliers/vendors, and FTD and Teleflora.

Confidentiality:

Maintains confidentiality on orders placed (including, who sent, who received, order, and cost).
