Key Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, your duties will encompass, but are not limited to:

1. Managing a variety of civil litigation cases from initiation to trial.
2. Advocating for clients in trucking litigation, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, premise liability, and insurance defense matters.
3. Offering dealership defense and overseeing catastrophic cases.
4. Preparing legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
5. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to formulate case strategies.
6. Performing and defending depositions.
7. Representing clients in court and presenting motions.
8. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
9. Adhering to all legal standards and regulations.
10. Executing administrative and management tasks related to legal practice.

Qualifications:

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law institution.
2. Licensed to practice in Georgia and in good standing.
3. At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, including trucking litigation, trial work, dealership defense, catastrophic cases, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, premise liability, and insurance defense.
4. Proven expertise in managing all phases of litigation and trial.
5. Strong analytical skills along with exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
6. Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving satisfactory resolutions.
7. Demonstrated capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
8. High level of professionalism and sound business judgment.
9. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
10. Strong commitment to client service and ethical practices.
