Senior Attorney/Partner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Attorney/Partner to join our dynamic legal team at Jobot. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, specializing in religious law and cases of religious abuse.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients on issues related to religious law and religious abuse.
  • Develop and implement advanced strategies for litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Participate in trials, prepare and present complex legal arguments, draft pleadings and motions, and conduct depositions.
  • Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop case strategies and ensure the highest level of client service.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends that may impact our clients.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of firm policies and procedures.
  • Promote the firm's values and uphold its reputation by maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior attorneys, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract and retain clients.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on religious defense.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Proven trial experience, with a strong record of successful case outcomes.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with experience in plea bargaining and mitigation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and court officials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
  • Demonstrated commitment to upholding the principles of religious freedom and defending the rights of individuals.
  • Proficiency in using legal software and technology for case management and research.
  • Experience in representing plaintiffs is a plus.
