Concrete Finisher Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at BrightView Landscape Development. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete, such as walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete
• Using saws to cut saw expansion joints
• Checking forms to ensure they are properly constructed
• Setting and aligning forms to the desired pitch and depth
• Spreading, leveling, and smoothing concrete
• Monitoring the curing of concrete throughout the process
• Producing rough concrete surfaces using brooms and power vibrators
• Sprinkling colored marble or stone chips over the surface to produce a desired design or pattern
• Cutting metal division strips and pressing them into terrazzo bases
• Fabricating concrete beams, columns, and panels
• Installing anchor bolts, steel plate door sills, and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete

Requirements:

• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
