We are seeking a skilled Sawyer to join our team at Blue Triangle Hardwoods in Everett, PA. As a leading producer of Appalachian and Northern hardwood lumber, we manufacture over 110 million board feet annually and supply customers worldwide.

Sawyer Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality green hardwood lumber from logs using advanced machinery and scanning equipment. They will determine the optimal cutting pattern to maximize value and meet production requirements, ensuring the quality of the lumber meets our company standards.

Sawyer Requirements:

• Ability to analyze and execute the most efficient cutting strategy for log breakdown
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing saw blades and lubricating equipment
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with the team

Sawyer Education and Experience:

• Working knowledge of NHLA lumber grades
• At least two years of experience in hardwood grade sawing
