Licensed Vocational Nurse II

Kaiser Permanente seeks a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse II to join our medical team. As a LVN, you will provide patient care and technical support under general supervision in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures while upholding the principles of responsibilities and applicable state, federal, and local laws.
• Perform patient care functions as prescribed by physician/health care professionals following established protocols, policies, and procedures within your scope of education, training, and responsibilities.
• Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams.
Additional Skills:
You will also be responsible for assessing and monitoring patients' conditions and notifying physicians or healthcare professionals for disposition. Your tasks will include preparing and administering medications as directed by physician orders, following established protocols. You will maintain equipment and supplies, identify and arrange for equipment needing repair, apply principles of aseptic technique and infection control as directed by the Infection Control Manual, and monitor patient flow, assigning or directing other ancillary personnel as needed.
Education and Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A license to practice as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) in California is necessary. Experience working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of electronic medical records are preferred.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. This range is based on industry standards and takes into account the level of responsibility, skills, and qualifications required for the role.
