Overview of the Role:

The Biology department at AACC is seeking part-time instructors for educational delivery in the classroom setting.

We are currently inviting applications for:

  • Botany
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Introductory Biology
  • Genetics


We are in search of educators who are passionate and interactive with learners, and who are eager to collaborate with both full-time and adjunct faculty members.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver assigned course(s) in alignment with expectations set forth by the department chair.

Evaluate student performance in achieving the learning objectives through both formal and informal assessments.

Comply with safety protocols and departmental standards.

Meet established deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other required documentation, as requested.

Essential Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in the discipline or a closely related field.

Desirable Qualifications:
Prior teaching experience is preferred.
