Senior Focus Primary Care Advanced Practitioner Opportunity

Job Summary: Mercy Clinic Physician Recruitment is seeking a skilled Advanced Practitioner to join our team in Springfield, MO.
About the Opportunity: This is a full-time day shift position in an outpatient clinic, working with senior patients 65 years or older. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality patient care and a passion for working with older adults.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality primary care to senior patients, including chronic condition management and preventive care.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Conduct thorough physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed, working closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in primary care, incorporating evidence-based medicine into patient care decisions.
