Job Summary

The Caregiver will provide hands-on care and support to our residents, maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical and emotional support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Observe and report any changes in resident condition, including skin, behavior, alertness, weight, and dietary needs.
  • Respond promptly to security system and resident call bells.
  • Notify supervisors and Health Care Coordinators of any changes in resident needs.
  • Assist with continence management and maintain cleanliness of resident suites and community restrooms.
  • Serve and collect food trays, reporting any meal refusals or loss of appetite.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Practice good standard care precautions, including cleanliness, hygiene, and health.
  • Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, guests, family members, and vendors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Certified Nurse's Aid certification or 80 hr. PCA certification required.
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
